Literature festival to boost reading at Halesowen school
A FESTIVAL of literature has been launched at a Halesowen school to boost pupils’ enjoyment of reading.
The two-week event, which started on Monday, at Windsor High School and Sixth Form includes quizzes, competitions, guest authors, story tellers and a cartoonist from Beano comics.
It is organised by the school’s librarians and activities will feature a visit from award-winning author Bali Rai, a murder mystery with storyteller Sue Andrews and a cartoon master class with Kev Sutherland.
