A HALESOWEN couple have admitted taking part in an ugly disturbance at a Stourbridge nightspot.

Steven and Louise Cooper, both 37, of Wesley Avenue, pleaded guilty to affray when they appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court.

The pair were both remanded on bail until September 15 when they will join three others who have already admitted the same charge in the dock.

The others are 22-year-old Benjamin Wilkes of Palm Croft, Brierley Hill, Geoffrey Hackett, 46, of Apperley Way, Halesowen, and 21-year-old Ethan Mills, of Claypit Lane, West Bromwich.

The charge relates to a disturbance on January 24 this year at the River Rooms in Mill Race Lane, Stourbridge.
