LOTTERY-funded organisations across Halesowen and Sandwell could be in line for a further £3,000 windfall.

Past recipients have the chance of gaining nationwide acclaim by entering The National Lottery Awards 2016.

Additional grants will be made to those judged to be outstanding projects which will have their time to shine at a ceremony broadcast on BBC 1 in October.

Figures show that more than £175,000 of National Lottery funding was awarded across Halesowen and Rowley Regis last year alone.

Projects can be nominated up to midnight on March 9 by tweeting @LottoGoodCauses or calling 0207 293 3599.
