THE Women's World Day of Prayer for Cradley Heath, Dudley Wood and Old Hill will be held next month at Holy Trinity Church, Old Hill.
The service will be held on Friday, March 4 at 2pm at the Lawrence Lane church.
The Christian Women of Cuba have written this year’s service and its theme is Receive children. Receive me.
It reflects St Mark’s Gospel, as a reminder that everyone is a child of God and equally worthy of our love and respect.
Jen Kerrison, one of the organisers, said: "On Friday March 4an estimated 3 million people in over 170 countries and islands will gather to observe this day of prayer.
"The day begins as the sun rises over the island of Samoa and continues until it sets off the coast of American Samoa, some 35 hours later."
Everyone is welcome and refreshments will follow the service, for more information phone 0121 550 3331.
