AN Old Hill church has been invited by the Archbishop of Canterbury to join other churches in a week of prayer.
Holy Trinity, the parish church in Old Hill, will be open for prayer every day during the week running up to Pentecost Sunday.
From Monday, May 9 until Friday, May 13, the church will be open from 8.30am to 8pm.
Yvonne Binder, lay reader, said: “Our scriptural theme for the week will be your kingdom come, your will be done.
"We shall set up prayer stations covering these themes and also a few other things we want to pray for locally.”
The week long event will conclude with a Men’s Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, May 14 in the church centre.
Everyone is welcome to attend during the week.
