THE explosive Wragge Report into alleged corruption at Sandwell Council is being published today (Thursday) at 5pm - and the News will have all the reaction.
A live blog is being set up which will contain headlines and details from the seven folder report compiled by the solicitors Gowling WLG, formerly Wragge and Co.
We will also have the latest reaction from councillors, MPs and members of the public and you will be able to comment on what is revealed to.
The report includes details how former deputy leader of Sandwell Council Oldbury Councillor Mahboob Hussain bullied council officers, helped a family friend buy undervalued land and got parking tickets quashed or reduced.
The report was commissioned when police began investigating the land deals in October 2014, detectives found Cllr Mahboob had no case to answer.
He has continually denied any wrongdoing.
Sandwell Council took advice from QC James Goudie about whether to publish the report, who said it should be published as soon as possible for the public good.
