Breaking News: The Wragge Report gets postponed due to High Court hearing
WITH one minute to go before the Wragge Report into alleged corruption at Sandwell Council was due to be published it was announced it will be postponed.
Melanie Dudley, Assistant Chief Executive of Sandwell Council, said: “The publication of the Sandwell Council-commissioned report by Wragge & Co (now Gowling WLG) and the legal opinion of an independent QC was this afternoon postponed due to a High Court hearing.
"It is hoped a decision on the publication will be determined by a judge this evening.”
The Wragge Report was due to be published at 5pm today (Thursday).
