VICTORIANS, Saxons, birds and seaside fun make up this half term’s family activities at Cradley Heath’s Haden Hill House Museum.

Visitors can find out how young Victorians organised their leisure time on Saturday and Sunday (May 28 and 29) from 2p until 6pm.

Children’s entertainer Ron Popple will be performing magic and balloon modelling on Bank Holiday Monday between 1.30pm and 4.30pm, when there will also be quizzes and trails.

Music man Andy Casserley will be playing seaside music on Tuesday May 31 between 11am and 3pm with visitors being able to join in a sing-along and play some instruments.

The RSPB will also be there with information and workshops and Old Hill be the Sea will be staged on Thursday (June 2) from 11am until 3pm.

There will be Punch and Judy shows on Friday (June 3) also from 11am until 3pm, plus craft activities and trails.

The Discover the Staffordshire Hoard exhibition with Thegns of Mercia costumed interpreters will be at the museum on Saturday and Sunday (June 4 and 5) from noon until 4pm, along with Saxon weaving and jewellery-making demonstrations.
