HOMEOWNERS are being warned by Sandwell Council’s trading standards of an expected summer surge of rogue traders touting for work.
Department manager Bob Charnley said they often use intimidating or aggressive practices, overcharge and give misleading statements about the work they offer, leaving customers with poor quality work, out of pocket and facing more bills to put problems right.
