BARREL loads of laughs will be on tap at a comedy festival opening next Thursday (July 21) at a Cradley Heath pub.

More than 60 comics are taking part in the third annual Bush-fest at the Holly Bush arts venue.

The curtain will rise on the four day event at 7pm continuing on Friday from 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 2pm.

The line-up includes several professional and breakthrough acts from around the country, many of whom are previewing their Edinburgh shows.

Admission to the Newtown Lane venue is free with the option to donate to the performer at the end of each show.

The festival is being staged in association with Blue Giraffe Comedy and the Fixed Wheel Brewery.

The Holly Bush holds popular comedy shows throughout the year on Thursday evenings.
