A DRIVER had to be cut from a car in Netherton after crashing into a tree.
Emergency services were called out to the crash in Highbridge Road, just after 10pm last night (Thursday, August 11).
Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to romove the roof of the car.
The driver was then left with West Midland Ambulance Service and West Midlands Police who were at the scene.
The road was closed from 10.20pm until about midnight.
The patient, who was not thought to be seriously injuried, was taken to hopsital.
