THE landlord of Coombswood Surgery has told the News he is delighted that the legal dispute which closed the surgery has been resolved.
Dr Humphrey Akufo-Teteh founded the surgery in 1985 and retired in 2013 and has been in dispute with Dr Ruth Hearn of the Stourside Medical Group.
Bailiffs closed the surgery in May leaving patients to travel into Halesowen town centre for appointments.
However, speaking at the Dudley Clinical Commissioning Group meeting at the Zion Centre last Friday Dr Akufo-Teteh confirmed Dr Hearn would be able to move back into the surgery.
The proposed date for the reopening is October 17.
