Halesowen History Society holding a Christmas meeting to raise a smile
THE Halesowen History Society is hoping to raise a smile at its Christmas meeting on Thursday, December 1.
Carol Taylor, from the society, said: "This year we will be welcoming David Bartley, who will be entertaining us with Black Country Humour in Verse.
"As this is our Christmas meeting, there will be refreshments, and our Christmas raffle."
She added: "David comes to us highly recommended so it should be a good evening."
"Everyone is welcome and there is a small charge of £2 for non members."
The meeting will be at Shenstone Theatre, Halesowen library at 7.15pm on Thursday, December 1.
