A BLACK Country animal charity has launched a purr-fect calendar to help boost funds before Christmas.
Wild Acre Rescue, which saves and rehomes ill-treated and abandoned cats and dogs, recruited Gornal photographer James Butroid to capture some of their furry friends in the best light.
The four-legged models turned out to be natural posers and people can pick up the resulting A4 calendar for £8 or grab two for £15.
Cash raised through sales will be ploughed back into the charity to help cover vets bills, which are expected to soar after the festive period, when many pets that were given as gifts are abandoned.
The calendar can be purchased from the charity's shop in High Street, Cradley Heath, or by calling 07534954992.
