POPPIES can be recycled at Sainsbury’s Oldbury until Sunday.
For the fourth year running the store will be providing a recycling service to support The Royal British Legion, the nation's biggest Armed Forces charity.
A poppy recycling box will be available at the customer service desk.
All collected poppies will go back to the legion to enable them to re-use or recycle them.
Alan Logie, store manager at Sainsbury’s Oldbury, said: “Sainsbury’s supported the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal this year by selling poppies and holding collections in store.
"With this recycling initiative, we wanted to show our customers another way they can support the Legion to ensure their poppies don’t go to waste. We hope the recycling drive proves a success with our Oldbury customers”.
