HALESOWEN is bracing itself for Black Friday madness.
The annual bargain hunting fest when retailers reduce prices ahead of the Christmas rush will see shoppers descend on the town centre.
Retailers in The Cornbow Centre have already announced reductions with Bon Marche offering 50 per cent discounts.
The Fragrance Shop is also offering 15 per cent off all gift sets until December 1.
However, ASDA has announced nationally they are not taking part in Black Friday due to scenes of bedlam in previous years.
However, Morrisons shoppers will get the help of a “strongperson” when they buy their Black Friday deals this week.
The supermarket has an in-store “strongperson” to help customers carry their shopping during this Black Friday week, which the supermarket is predicting will be the ‘heaviest’ shopping week of the year.
Deals across the stores, which run until Friday, (November 25) are expected to increase the weight of shoppers’ bags significantly.
