IT was a dog day afternoon at Halesowen Town Football Club on Saturday as a beagle held up play.
The pooch was on the loose against Skelmersdale United at The Grove holding up the game for six minutes.
The dog, believed to be defender's Asa Charlton's pet, caused consternation as stewards and the defender tried to catch him.
The hold up did not stop The Yeltz winning the game 1-0.
Manager John Hill tweeted after the game: "IT was not funny at the time but brilliant how the video has been put that together.
Referencing the controversial spate of transfers to Stourbridge Town from Halesowen, he said: "I'm just concerned that Stourbridge might come in for him."
