HEALTHY eating tips are on the menu in Cradley Heath for twelve weeks.

Summat Ta Ate is a community project for adults who want to learn about diet and wellbeing at Cradley Heath Community Link’s new High Street premises.

Vicki Smith and Fran Wilde of Walk Works CIC got community lottery funding for the project.

Ms Smith said: "This is not a course it is a way of sharing what we already know about food, including Black Country fittle, with a bit of expert input.

"We have a nutritionist cooking with us, Juliette Clarke, and we have passionate local gardener, Janet Armstrong, visiting with container gardening with easy-to-grow veg and herbs.

"We’ll be visiting places of inspiration such as The Real Junk Food project, local people’s vegetable gardens, and having a savvy shopping trip."

She added: "This is a pilot project and we hope it’s the basis for a lot more food fascination in the future."

The project is free to adults living in Cradley Heath and Old Hill, for more information phone 07952 563 725 or emailing walkworks.cic@gmail.com.
