WEST Midlands Fire Service received a number of 999 calls alerting them to a fire at a factory in Hurst Green on Tuesday evening (May 23).
Crews from Haden Cross Fire Station were alerted to the small fire, which had caused damage to metal cladding outside a warehouse in Nimmings Road, at about 5.41pm.
Eight firefighters were dispatched to the scene, five in an engine and three in brigade response vehicle where they were able to extinguish the blaze.
While firefighters were damping down the area, the crew also forced entry into the building to check if the fire had spread inside.
After leaving the scene shortly after 6.30pm, the crew returned at 8pm to check for no further hot spots or flair ups.
