A CAR was completely destroyed in Oldbury last night (Monday, June 12), in what fire crews believe to be an arson attack.
Firefighters from Oldbury Fire Station were alerted to the blaze – on Lion Farm Playing Fields, in Brunel Road – just after 11pm.
The Oldbury crew were joined by a brigade response vehicle from West Bromwich, and used a hose reel jet to put out the flames, which had engulfed the car.

“We sent eight firefighters in total, who were there for just over an hour. The car was 100 per cent involved in the fire.
“We requested police to the scene as believed the incident was arson.”
