BUDDING Halesowen soldiers who are looking for a career in the Armed Forces have got the chance to speak with Army reserves as they tour the Midlands this week.

The reserves and Job Centre Plus are joining forces to offer new job and career opportunities to unemployed people and those considering a change of career.

Soldiers from the reserves will be on hand at Oldbury Army Reserve Centre, in Wolverhampton Road, tomorrow (Tuesday, June 20) to talk to people about the many paid volunteer opportunities available.

They will also be displaying some of the state of the art equipment used on exercises.

Many other employers and training providers will also be available at the centre between 9.30am until 4pm to give information to jobseekers.

The Army Jobs Fairs Week leads up to the national Armed Forces Day, which will this year take place on Saturday (June 24).
