THERE was a concert with a difference in Dudley as a sell-out audience enjoyed a musical performance inside the town’s canal caverns.
Cradley Heath Male Voice Choir performed the one hour concert in the Singing Caverns for Dudley Canal Trust, with the audience brought in by narrowboat.
The show earlier this month was the second time the choir have staged a concert in the caverns.
The choir’s next performance is the English Association of Male Voice Choirs annual charity concert in aid of Birmingham’s St Mary’s Hospice.
Starting at 7pm, more than 200 choristers will perform a varied program on Saturday (July 15) in the Great Hall at Birmingham University.
Tickets for the concert, where Sovereign Brass will be the guest artists, cost £12 and are available by calling 0121 705 9722.
