A SERIES of workshops offering primary school youngsters free maths and English tuition are being held in Cradley Heath this summer.

One2ition have been running tutoring sessions for children aged between six and 11 at Tesco’s community room since 2015.

And this summer the group wants to help children in the community develop a love and excitement for education by running workshops free of charge.

Sessions taking place throughout August include ‘perfecting punctuation, ‘writing skills masterclass’, ‘developing division’ and ‘learning about length, mass and volume’.

Qualified tutor Lotifa Khatun, who runs the sessions alongside staff who are all experienced and DBS checked, said: “We have achieved an overwhelming amount of success in helping children improve their confidence and their academic abilities in both mathematics and English.

“We believe that this is due to our unique passion in helping the children to perform better. We go over and above our role and the results speak for themselves.

“We will start with a motivational session that will help children to visualise their goals, and help support them in setting targets to achieve these goals.”

Sessions run every Wednesday until August 30 between 11am and noon at Cradley Heath Tesco’s community room.

Spaces are limited and must be registered by texting or calling Mrs Khatun on 07572 602572, or Mr Ali on 07943 173660.
