A HALESOWEN man has been jailed for two-and-a-half years after pleading guilty to burglary.
Nicolas Rothero, of Windsor Road, recently appeared before Worcester Crown Court where he was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
The sentencing came after the 32-year-old admitted committing a burglary at a property on Cherry Walk in Hollywood, on June 20.
Detective Constable O'Reilly from West Mercia Police said: “Our priority to bring offenders to justice where possible and protect our communities from harm
“I hope this sentence goes some way to not only reassure the public that we take burglaries seriously but also that we will always work to bring those responsible before the courts.
“Burglaries can have a distressing impact on victims and the offence is completely unacceptable.
“I would urge anybody who has been a victim of crime of this or any other nature to report it on 101 or by calling 999 in an emergency.”
