THE organisation responsible for commissioning health services across Sandwell is inviting members of the public to attend its upcoming AGM.
NHS Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG will host the meeting on Thursday, September 14, from 6.30pm at West Bromwich Albion’s Hawthorns ground.
During the AGM, health leaders will be sharing key healthcare issues, while everyone who attends will have the opportunity to speak to GPs, staff and patient representatives and find out how they can play a role in health services.
Dr Nick Harding, CCG chairman, said: “Patients are at the heart of everything we do, so we do hope that local people will take this opportunity to find out more about local healthcare and how we are working to improve services.
“The AGM is a great opportunity to hear about your local healthcare services first-hand and for us to hear from local people so we can commission services that truly reflect their needs.”
Anyone who would like to attend can book a place, which will be taken on a first come, first served basis, by contacting the CCG’s engagement team on 0121 612 1447 or via email at SWBCCG.engagement@nhs.net.
