AFTER Grange Hill was reopened yesterday following work to repair a burst water main, a temporary lane closure in Grange Road has now been put in place.
The new closure is on both sides of the carriageway and is located immediately at the splitter on the junction with Manor Way.
Dudley Council say the closure is to allow South Staffs Water to undertake repair works to the road surface which was caused by the Grange Hill mains burst last Thursday.
A council spokesman said: “Traffic can flow around the works in both directions, but please expect delays due to the closure, especially at peak times.”
It is hoped the temporary traffic management system will only be in place from today (Thursday, October 12) until about 3.30pm tomorrow (Friday, October 13).
