KIND-hearted folk at a Halesowen accounting firm have raised more than £2,000 in support of The Men’s Health Charity.
A team of seven staff members at chartered accountants Nicklin LLP took part in the ‘Movember’ challenge last month where they grew moustaches to raise funds for the charity.
With the help of clients, contacts, family, friends and the rest of the team at the Stourbridge Road-based firm, the super seven managed to raise in excess of £2,000.
David Wright, managing partner, said: “The amount raised is absolutely amazing and we would like to thank all of the people who have supported us with their fantastic generosity.
“The event was supported by three of our partners, our tax directors and senior managers in the accountancy and tax department, which I am sure has helped the success of our campaign.”
The moustaches soon disappeared earlier this month as the team began to look forward to their next fundraising event supporting a Christmas Toy Appeal for disadvantaged children.
