MOTIVATED Cradley folk who have made a new year’s resolution to become fitter and healthier can be helped in their quest by the local ‘Run Walk Run’ group.

Meeting every Wednesday evening from 7pm to 8pm at Homer Hill Park, the group supports each other to become more active as they work on their personal health and fitness together.

Councillor Richard Body, who runs the group, said: “We are a friendly running/walking bunch of guys and gals and the group is perfect for anyone. No matter your size, age, gender or fitness level.

“Regular cardio exercise along with a healthy balanced diet, is proven to benefit both our physical and mental health.

“Together we can give each other the motivation and determination needed to become leaner and healthier.”

The group meets at the path crossing point of Benjamin Drive before starting and finishing with a loop of the park’s path.

Cllr Body added: “Whatever your running ability, you are welcome. The group is perfect to keep personally motivated to keep healthy and to make new friends.”
