IT’S going to be ‘Chico Time’ in Halesowen next week as the X Factor favourite comes to teach the town his famous dance moves.

Youssef “Chico” Slimani is teaming up with Workoutz owner Tracey Nicolls to host an aerobic exercise session at Lutley Primary School on Saturday, March 10.

Fans have the chance to meet the man himself as well as learn the X Factor quarter-finalist’s moves during the one-hour Block Fit class.

Chico, who qualified as an exercise instructor two years ago before launching his sell-out exercise sessions, said: “Part of Block Fit is using my own songs. This is what makes it so special, it’s very original.”

He takes ingredients from four domains – dance, combat, “high and low” and meditation – to create a highly aerobic class which he claims burns between 650 and 1,000 calories a session but keeps people entertained.

“This has been in the pipeline for about three years,” says the dad-of-two. “I didn’t want to create just another celebrity fitness class – I wanted it to have longevity and success.

“I’ve been into fitness all my life. This is a workout with a heart.”
