A MAN has died after being found collapsed in his home in Elizabeth Road, Halesowen, this morning (March 2).
Police were called just before 11.30am by West Midlands Ambulance Service colleagues who were unable to save the 69-year-old.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said the man was pronounced dead at the scene, adding: “The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.”
Three or four police cars were spotted outside the property, near the junction of Albrighton Road, before officers cordoned off the house.
An ambulance service spokesman confirmed paramedics were called to reports of a patient in cardiac arrest, sending an ambulance and a paramedic officer to the scene.
He added: “Unfortunately, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
