VARIETY performers have been out and about in Halesowen promoting their summer show as a great escape for football widows - and widowers - fed up with the World Cup and the continuous drone of the vuvuzela.
Halesowen Amateur Dramatic Society Startime Variety are putting the final touches to Now That's What I Call Startime before the curtain rises at the Cornbow Hall next Wednesday (July 7) It is the first show to be produced by startime member Jodie Rock and will feature songs by Slade, Queen, Michael Buble, ELO, Amy Winehouse, Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson and many more.
Members of the cast donned their costumes and took to Halesowen town centre armed with leaflets and booking forms to promote the show which will run until Saturday, July 10.
