DETECTIVES are hunting a man who groped a woman at a zebra crossing in an Oldbury street.
The 57-year-old victim was walking alone in Halesowen Street when a man walked towards her acting suspiciously.
A police spokesman said when she got to the zebra crossing, the man reached across her and groped her chest.
Officers were called to the scene after the incident last Wednesday at about 10.20am and are looking for the man who briefly got onto a bus, but then jumped off and ran away in the direction of Mecca Bingo.
Detective sergeant Liz Richardson said:“The victim was both distressed and the force used during the assault caused her some discomfort.”
The offender is described as black, in his mid 30s to early 40s, clean shaven, of stocky build, with short black hair, and a plump face. He wore a distinctive yellow t-shirt and plain faded blue denim jeans.
