A 23-year-old motorcyclist from Cradley Heath was killed in Winson Green after horrific crash over the weekend.

Daniel Bradley, from Cradley Heath, died after his blue Yamaha motor cycle was in collision with a blue Vauxhall Zafira in Western Road just after 9.20pm on Friday, May 18.

Sergeant Chris Jones, from the West Midlands Police Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Mr Bradley was one of four children.

“His parents have described him as 'a gentle giant who was loved by family and friends alike'.”

He added: “They have asked for privacy at this time of grieving.”

"'We are at the early stages of this investigation and I'm particularly keen to trace anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward and contact the Collision Investigation Unit."

The 49-year-old driver of the Zafira, from Handsworth, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is currently on police bail.
