Cradley Heath leisure centre using rave music to attract keep fitters
4:04pm Thursday 28th June 2012 in Local
"Fitness Instructor Helen Hill and Gym Instructor Matt Honeyghan give their retro outfits a test run at Haden Hill Leisure Centre."
A CRADLEY Heath leisure centre is hoping to attract people to its keep fit lessons by turning back the clock to the 1990s.
Haden Hill Leisure Centre is holding its first Retro and Glow aerobics session on tonight from 7pm-8pm and will be hoping the feelgood factor of the 1990s rave seen helps local residents lose the flab.
Site Fitness Co-ordinator, Michelle Jones, said: "Haden Hill Leisure Centre will be switching on the disco lights and turning up the dance floor classics for an aerobics class with a difference.
"Our new dance studio is going to be buzzing with people that want to have a laugh and enjoy some 'old skool' tunes whilst getting fit!"
Participants are invited to wear retro clothing such as flourescents, leg warmers, head bands and tu-tu skirts.
Free glow sticks will be provided for everyone that takes part.
The one-off class costs £5 and is free to Sandwell Leisure Trust Leisure Pass Gold members.
