Mayor of Sandwell invites residents for a curry

The Mayor of Sandwell is hosting a charity curry night in support of his two charities - Help for Heroes and Different Strokes.

Akash Balti Restaurant in West Bromwich has kindly agreed to hold the event at their restaurant on Wednesday, August 22 at 7pm.

The meal will consist of a set menu including a vegetarian option.

The restaurant has a licensed bar, however, people are welcome to bring their own alcohol.

Accommodation is limited, so tickets are on a first come, first served basis.

Both the mayor Councillor Keith Davies and deputy mayor Councillor Vic Silvester will be attending.

At just £12 each, tickets are available from the Mayor's Parlour, The Big House, Oldbury , call 0121 569 3204/3041.

A raffle will also be held on the evening.
