BIG-hearted staff at an Oldbury -based training company aim to raise more than £1,000 for Cancer Research UK when they take part in a Race for Life event.
Eight women employees of the Black Country Training Group, Taylors Lane, have signed up for the charity event on September 23.
The team, headed up by Jo Robb, are donning the now traditional pink costumes to walk or run five kilometres around Dudley Council ’s Himley Hall and Park.
Mrs Robb said: “We undertake a sponsored walk to raise money for charity every year which has seen us support many good local causes.
“This year we’ve decided to join up with lots of other women in the Race for Life event and we hope to raise around £1,000 for Cancer Research UK.”
