Mary Stevens Hospice in Stourbridge is urging local residents to consider donating any unwanted Christmas or birthday gifts which can be sold at their annual Summer Fete on 7 September.

The following items would be gratefully received – Good quality toys, bottles and chocolates, toiletries, handbags, raffle and tombola prizes - all of which will be sold during the fete at the Hospice, to raise much needed funds towards the running costs of £2.4 million.
Items can be left at the Fundraising office, in the lower car park, at Mary Stevens Hospice, 221 Hagley Road, Stourbridge, between 9.00am and 4.45pm.
Anyone wishing to donate clothes or furniture should contact their local Hospice shop.

Vicki Rowles, Head of Fundraising said, “Our popular summer event is only a couple of weeks away, but you still have time, to have a spring clean and clearout of unwanted items.  We would welcome any good quality items which can be sold on the stalls. We know from previous years just how generous the local community can be when donating unwanted gifts and we really do appreciate their support”.

‘The Mary Stevens Hojspice Summer Fete’, runs from 11am – 3.30pm and has something to entertain the whole family. The Fundraising Team and the volunteer fete committee look forward to welcoming visitors once again on Saturday 07 September.
