Bin collection changes on bulletin
Dudley borough residents are being urged to sign up to the council’s e-bulletin to keep up-to-date on their Christmas bin collections.
Households will have altered collections during the festive season. Details on this and the council’s new ‘Weather Watch’ system to keep residents updated on extreme weather conditions, will be included within the next, free, email update.
The e-bulletin service was launched as part of Dudley Council’s commitment to being a community council. More than 1,600 residents have already subscribed.
Councillor Pete Lowe, deputy leader of the council, said:
“Every year residents come to us with questions about Christmas bin collections and where to go to find out details about school closures in the event of extreme weather. The answer to these questions will be in our next email update. I advise everyone who has access to the internet to sign-up so that you remain informed.”
The e-bulletin is distributed six times a year, before each school holiday. It is also issued as required to inform residents of consultations and any changes to services due to extreme weather.
