Friends of Sycamore Adventure and staff will be on hand to wrap up gifts for shoppers next week.

Sycamore Adventure staff will provide a gift wrapping service outside Eat Central on the upper level at the Merry Hill centre.

For a donation, Santa’s little helpers will wrap your gifts up beautifully on Thursday 19 December and Friday 20 December from 4pm until midnight.

On Saturday 21 December the wrappers will be on duty from 10am to 5pm and on Monday 23 December from 4pm until midnight.

All proceeds will go to Friends of Sycamore Adventure, a group of parents and professionals who have a common interest in the future development of Dudley’s state of the art playground

Councillor Tim Crumpton, cabinet member for children’s services and lifelong learning, said:

“Sycamore Adventure is a fantastic place for children and young people to play in Dudley and provides quality facilities for children of all abilities.

“I wish the Friends group every success in their gift wrapping sessions next week. Every donation will help to keep the playground furnished with quality toys and equipment.”

Sycamore Adventure is an amazing place to play including tree houses, water play, ship wrecks, forest area and a giant play barn. There are currently 6,000 children registered including a high number of disabled children. All money raised will support the children to play at the playground for years to come.
