There’s a chance to get creative in Dudley’s museums this month with the Sticky Saturdays programme.
Dudley Council led Sticky Saturdays provides fun, free craft activities for children aged five to 11.
Sessions run at all three council museums every month, with Broadfield House Glass Museum running session on the first Saturday of the month, Dudley Museum & Art Gallery on the second Saturday and the Red souse Glass Cone on the third.
Workshops planned for this month run at Broadfield on 3 March from 1.30 to 3.30pm, Dudley Museum on 10 March from 1.30 to 3.30pm and the cone on 17 March from 1 to 3.30pm.
Councillor David Stanley, cabinet member for environment and culture said: “These fun, free family craft activities are always really busy and give people the chance to look round our excellent museums and visitor attractions as part of their day out.”
Museum staff runs the activities but a responsible adult must accompany all children.
Broadfield House Glass Museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from noonto 4pm, the Red House Glass Cone is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm while Dudley Museum and Art Gallery is open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Admission to all sites is free.
