THE past may be a familiar place for audiences at the latest Ledbury Amateur Dramatic Society production.
The historical war drama,' Through the Dark Clouds Shining ' was written by LADS member Barbara Jones and was first performed to high
acclaim in Ledbury in 2000.
This time it is being directed by her daughter Sally Watson.
With a cast of more than 50 LADS members it
follows the fortunes of a Family through two
World Wars .
It features well known period songs such as "It's a Long Way to Tipperary'"and "We'll Meet Again ',and "The Lambeth Walk'.
It is being performed again this year to mark the centenary of the outbreak of World War 1.
The show will run from Thursday May 8 to Saturday May 10, from 7.30pm each evening.
There will also be a matinee on Saturday, May 10, at 2.30pm.
