POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Redditch on Saturday 19 July at around 12.05am.

The incident happened on Saturday, July 19 at about 12.05amon Ipsley Street, in a bus shelter opposite the Warwick Arms.

The victim, a 23 year-old man, was approached by three men who attacked him in the bus shelter before running off, leaving him distressed and with minor facial injuries.

The men are described as Asian and in their early twenties.

No further description is known.

It is believed that an unknown man was stood outside the Warwick Arms at the time and could have seen the incident. A couple also walked past shortly afterwards.

Police would like to speak to these people to help them with their enquiries.
