A TEENAGE car thief used a stolen vehicle for a gang raid on a Rowley Regis shop, a court heard.
Jac (corr) Vaughan stole an Audi from a Dudley house for the raid on the One Stop Shop, Throne Road, where the gang escaped with property including cigarettes.
The 18-year-old pleaded guilty at Wolverhampton Crown Court to stealing two Audis and a Volkswagen Polo, two charges of making off without payment for fuel, two burglaries and robbery.
Vaughan, of Stour Road, West Bromwich, was sent to a young offenders’ institution for five years three months Howard Searle, prosecuting said all the offences were committed over 15 days before he was finally arrested by police.
