BUFFERY Park should be bulging with people on Bank Holiday Monday for a family fun day that promises to attract a huge crowd.

Last year's event enticed more than 4,000 people and organisers, The Friends and Residents of Buffery Park, are expecting much more of the same.

To make sure this year's event goes with a swing, the group have teamed up with Dave Brownhill of Black Country Festival fame.

There will be live performances on a specially constructed stage by Black Country Gaz and Far Forest from Shropshire along with an exclusive Buffery's Got Talent show.

Local group K9 will also be attending and running a dog show with visitors encouraged to bring their own pet pooches along as they'll be plenty of doggy competitions to take part in and prizes on offer.

There's also a whole host of activities to keep the kids entertained with climbing walls, a bouncy castle, slides, cycle tracks and a land train.

Visitors can also try their hand at bubble football and there will also be a display of vintage cars.

The fun day kicks off at 11am on May 4 and continues until 5pm.
