FAMILIES can step back in time and see the history of cinema brought to life this Bank Holiday at the Black Country Living Museum.
From Punch and Judy to the silver screen, budding film connoisseurs will discover how modern cinema came to be on August 31.
Visitors can explore period houses and shops while meeting all sorts of characters as they bring images to life with thaumatropes and budding film fanatics will also be able to ‘step on set’ with the museum’s film trail and guess which parts of the museum have featured in documentaries, films and prime time dramas.
The museum’s very own authentic 1920s Limelight Cinema will also be showing classics including vintage cartoons and Laurel and Hardy.
