OFFICERS from Hagley and Rubery Safer Neighbourhood Team visited Uffmoor Woods to offer visitors crime prevention advice.
Alongside the Rural, Business and Cyber Crime (RBC) van, officers promoted rural matters, offered safety tips to residents, and talked to them about their concerns.
A spokesperson for the team said: "There are some fantastic locations in the Hagley and Rubery area for walks and we would encourage people to get out and explore them, however local beauty spots can be a target for vehicle crime, particularly during nice weather.
"The team would advise anyone parking in rural carparks to leave any valuables at home or take them with you and ensure your car is locked and secured - don't just rely on your key fob."
Police are advising anyone who sees suspicious behaviour in their area to contact West Mercia Police on 101.
