FOUR masked robbers, armed with baseball bats and a gun, threatened two Wildmoor residents to open their safe, before making off with the expensive watches and jewellery inside.

The robbery took place between 4.20pm and 4.50pm on Friday, December 2 at a detached house in Wildmoor Lane, Bromsgrove.

The gang of hooded crooks smashed a window to the house while the home owner and another adult were upstairs and two children sat downstairs in the lounge.

The robbers, who were all wearing hoodies, gloves and masks, entered the house carrying bats and what is believed to be a handgun.

After forcing the adults to open the safe, the gang made off with several high value watches and items of jewellery.

These included a single stone diamond engagement ring, a 18ct yellow gold diamond bracelet, a gentleman's 18ct yellow gold day date champagne diamond dot dial Rolex wristwatch and a Jacob and Co five world time zone wristwatch.

A gentleman's Brietling for Bentley limited edition 18ct yellow gold GMT wristwatch and a ladies 18ct yellow gold Datejust champagne diamond dot dial wristwatch were also taken, alongside an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak offshore Arnold Schwarzenegger 'The Legacy' limited edition wristwatch and a gentleman's 18ct yellow gold Oyster perpetual submariner Rolex wristwatch.

West Mercia Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward to help identify the offenders and track down the stolen items, and are also asking for any CCTV from properties in the area.

A spokesman for the force said: "Although no one was injured during the incident the occupants were visibly shaken and officers are keen to reassure the public.

"Police are also asking the public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity."
