TWO of the county’s biggest employers – Heineken and Cargill – have registered objections to a plan for 1,200 new homes at Three Elms in Hereford.

We asked those who took part in this week's online poll whether they supported the proposal for the development.

A total of 1,235 people took part in the vote and a majority of 65 per cent said the scheme would be 'overdevelopment' and could have a detrimental impact on businesses and residents.

However, 31 per cent said the scheme would provide much needed affordable homes. The remaining four per cent said they did not know.
