A SLICE of Italy is heading to Bromsgrove as the Italian Market comes to the town centre.

Stalls will line the High Street to offer authentic Italian treats including olives, nuts and dried fruits, baklava, biscuits, breads, nougat, fudge, liquorice, Turkish delight and salami.

The event takes place from 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday, July 29, and is being organised by CJ’s Events Warwickshire – who launched the first ever Bromsgrove Food Festival in June.

Jamie Walker of CJ’s Events Warwickshire said: “The Italian Market is another fantastic opportunity for shoppers to enjoy all the sights, smells and tastes and look forward to having them in High Street again later this month”

Bromsgrove District Councillor Karen May, whose portfolio covers the town centre, added: “I am delighted the Italian market wants to sell its wares in our High Street once again. It’s a great opportunity for residents to sample something to tantalise their taste buds and try something new.”
