FOLLOWING the theft of a white Audi A4 Quattro in Barnt Green on Friday (July 21), West Mercia Police is launching an appeal.

Police were initially contacted after reports of a vehicle being broken into in the main car park of a public house on Hewell Road sometime between 8.15pm and 8.30pm.

It is reported that the offenders had exited a white Jaguar XF before stealing the Audi and both vehicles driving away in the direction of Birmingham.

It is believed that the offenders are described as four Asian and had been wearing scarves and balaclavas, one of which was armed with a bladed weapon.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Paul Cooper, of Redditch CID, said: “We are appealing for anyone who has further information on the incident to come forward.”
